Why does the LG 7000 suck so bad at recording ringtones?

it starts out sounding fine then gets real loud and annoying. why does it do that??

don't know...maybe your phone is defective. i had this phone and loved it for two years til i got my new lg 9800. i didn't have that problem with mine tho.
