I own dropped my mobile - Help!?

I have dropped my Samsung U600 at work, onto a concrete floor. The peak is still lighting up slightly, but there is no menu or anything else showing. It is turning on and sour as the phone is making the usual start-up or switch-off noise.

A Colleague from work seem to think it is in recent times my screen explicitly bust. He rang a phone shop, and they confirmed this as person right from the symptoms....

Can I just buy a tentative screen and fit it myself (someone else said I could do this from work) or do I enjoy to send it to the shop and enjoy them do it?

I cancelled my insurance which I now know be a stupid idea!

Please facilitate, serious answers only please....cant live in need my phone, I have small child at the child minders when I am out at work and inevitability to be contactable.

It may be cheaper just to buy a up to date phone but i dropped mine once,took the battery out and replaced it and the phone be fine.........

I have an idea that that if you need it like greased lightning, the repair shop would be able to win it done within a afternoon or so. If you order one yourself, it may give somebody a lift a few weeks to get the bit.

You should bring it into the shop for fixing. Fxing by yourself - this is only reccommended IF you are a professional. And repeat your insurance thing, surrounded by case you drop it again.

take it to a phone shop and ask someone. try to avoid the exchange cards providers shop (eg vodafone) as i find they just try and rip you past its sell-by date!! If its on contract you def need to hold insurance! you can buy screens etc past its sell-by date ebay but they can be hard to fit and you risk risky the phone even more. It may have to be sent away for repair, if thats the bag why dont you buy a cheap pay as you step one? you can buy them for about lb15 in a minute! x

If you requirement a replacement phone quickly, you should contact your local freecycle group. The pattern address is www.freecycle.org. You should be able to receive a basic headset free of charge to tide you over while you decide what to do beside your other handset. If you later get your leading handset fixed you'll be capable of keep the one you carry from freecycle as a spare in baggage of any further mishaps. Hope this helps.

Buy a cheapy one for lb15 for now, while you replace you eyeshade or save up for a bright one

just buy a cheep phone from woolies they are individual about 20 quid! if you entail it for what you say simply and not status it shouldnt matter what liberal of phone it is! or just distribute it off to be fixed

Where do files sent beside bluetooth run..

The easiest and cheapest route is to look on ebay for any broken samsung u600's and buy one next to a working screen.

Then give somebody a lift your 2 broken u600's and make a working one, go the second one as broken on ebay.

I would be suprised if you pay any smaller number than lb100 to have it repaired after factoring cost of chunk and labour
