i have verizon wireless and i know that anyone, nomatter what plan beside verizon can talk for free, but is it like peas in a pod with texting? because my friend (he have verizon too) kept texting my phone and i was getting wacky at him because i thought it costs money. then he said its free, all the same my dad says its not, thankfulness in advanced=)

Depends on when you started your verizon service and which plan you own. Many of their plans offer unlimited texting to anyone presently. As far as the older wireless plans turn, you either enjoy to pay per essay (no matter the sender's/recipient's service provider) and or give a texting plan.
If you have a texting plan or the current wireless plans (seems to be anything above the central plans, i believe it started this year) you will not be charged per text for verizon customers.
So, simply, if you have an elder plan and you didn't add texting to it, afterwards you will be charged $.15 per text no thing who texts you or who you record. If you started service sometime recently or inside this year you are probably in the clear
