Whenever a wireless phone or cellphone receives a signal, my computer speakers make a distinct noise.How come?

I would like to know whar causes this and especially if this does any harm.
I experienced this with cellphones and with different types of speakers

Other Answers start -->This happens a lot. Cell phones have powerful transmitters in them and the signal they produce can interfere with sensitive (or poorly shielded) analog equipment. It shouldn't do any damage to any consumer electronics.
