I need a cheap verizon wireless cell phone with no contract. Any ideas besides ebay!!??

I need to buy a phone without a contract. It must be less than 200 dollars. also i dont buy electronics online. It must be verizon...any ideas in mind?

Go to Verizon and get a prepaid phone. NO contracts and phones less than $200.

Head up to Target or somewhere, they have pay as you go Verizon phones. Some for about $50.

As it's already been said, you can buy a phone that's packaged for use with prepaid service (either inPulse or Easy Pay). If you call tech support (1-800-922-0204, option 3), they can activate a prepaid phone to a regular account.

Another option would be to purchase a refurbished phone from customer service and have it activated to the account. I've seen these phones sold as cheap as $50, but the last time I dealt with that, it was going for $90. Either way, it's in your price range. This might be a better idea than going with a prepaid phone because the Get It Now service works differently on prepaid than it does on post pay. If you had a prepaid phone on your post pay account, the Get It Now service might not function correctly.

Get a pay as you go phone from walmart. They will not activate over the phone because it is a pre paid phone. But the people in the store are usually stupid, and they will do it, if not go to a different store until you find someone who will it beats paying 150 plus tax and activation charges for a peice of junk. Also if you call customer service and say it was stolen, they will give you 25% of retail..
