Sony Ericsson W300i or one of the Sony Ericsson K series.?

Can't decide which to get, am not so bothered about playing music on a phone but would like it to take decent pictures. I've heard that the K series phones take good photos. Anybody have one and could tell me what they think to it please?

I have a Sony Ericsson K501i. It has proved extraordinarily reliable, the reception (even in 'difficult' areas) is excellent, the camera function is simple to use and produces very acceptable pictures. As the camera lens is on the back of the phone you hold it like a standard camera. The phone's menu system is logical and the operation of the instrument itself is intuitive. The only drawback is that the phone's memory can not be expanded (there's no provision for a card - but if I want to take lots of photographs I use a dedicated camera). I have not found the relatively small memory a problem since any photographs I take I usually download on the day taken. However, if I want to free up some memory while out, I send myself a picture text and then delete the image file on the phone! Battery life is very good and the phone itself is a neat and compact. For the price it is extremely good value. It includes several 'sane' ringtones - i.e., ones that do not annoy people! I don't think you would be disappointed if you were to get one.

I dont know much about the K series but I did have a W300i and it was way to bulky for me. I am guy though and dont carry a purse so I always had to stick it in my pocket. Way way to bulky. I would get the K.

I would recommend the K series phone. I have a W300i, and the camera is awful. So if your main interest in the phone is to take photos, AVOID the W300i.
