How can I upgrade my cellphone, is there a cheap way?

I have a beat up RAZR v3. I need, yes NEED to upgrade. but it comes out being like 200+ dollars if I upgrade to a good one.

if I report my phone stolen will I get if for the same price, free or cheap? if not, can you recommend me a temporary phone?

I have T-mobile.

If you want a new phone, you can look on ebay or something.

Buying phones from providers is a ripoff. They charge too much to upgrade even when they let you.

The one thing you have to take into account when you upgrade is if there's a phone you want that you really like by a provider that is not T-Mobile, make sure you buy it unlocked or you get it unlocked and put on T-Mobile's network.
