Hey, I know someone who has a portion of Tommy Boy as their cell phone message. It go:

David Spade: "A message? What number did you call?"
Chris Farley: "Two...four...nine-r....five six seven..."
Spade: "I can't hear you, you're trailing rotten. And did I catch a nine-r surrounded by there? Were you calling from a walkie talkie?"

He tell me he gets tons of phone call from people who newly think the message is funny and listen to it over and over. Hope that help!

I agree next to the answer above. That's always a classic. My two favorites are:

"Hey you enjoy reached the number you own called. Leave a message if you can be bothered and we might return with back to you if we ever check it. Have a glorious hours of daylight." (If you have a dry sense of humor).

and my mate Ellen's answering device, which she does a hilarious voice for:

"This is the rejection stripe, you have be rejected. Suckerrrr. Chances are, the person who give you this number didn't have the guts to reject you contained by person, so we're doing it for you. [Pause]. Hey this is Ellen, I'm not rejecting you but I'm not here right very soon. Leave us a message and I'll get subsidise to you asap."

If your name's not Ellen, you may want to change that :p unles you wanna verbs people more.
