Can you disconnect a income as you travel mobile number?

I have a pay cheque as you mobile number which I want to disconnect, so no one else can use or bring back my number (as a replacement). Any ideas?

Simplest Solution--Just turn your phone stale and quit using it.
Are you wanting the number for yourself to use later or beside another phone? Just about any phone company can port (transfer) in recent times about any phone number to a different phone (just have it done myself).

You could probably call the phone company and hold something done also, but with this pick later on down the road the phone company will offer that number out to someone. It all depends on constraint, I had my home phone shut past its sell-by date for over six months, when I had it turned rear legs on I was competent to get my frail number back. Every phone company is different I'm sure, of late ask them how long the # will be unavailable if you hold them disconnect.

I'll share you how it works with my service provider. After 3 months of languor (meaning that your balance is at 0 and you don't replenish it), you lose your phone number. They freeze your number for a period of 6 months so not a soul else can take it. After 6 months, they release the number posterior and someone else can take it. They can't hold the phone number forever.
