Samsung PC Studio options are grayed out?

I bought a data cable/software kit for my Samsung Sync (SGH-A707) and the options are fine when the phone is not connected, but the second it is connected and recognizes it, the options become gray and unclickable. Any ideas?

i had the same problem u have to go into the phone's menu and change some option...it might be the USB setting under the phone setting menu
