what should i do? my friends have told me they hold text me and they thought i be mad at them but i never get them. i already turned off my phone and on again but still nil.. any sugguestions?

-If your area have hardly any service.

Also, try checking your inbox alot. Maybe you're getting them, it is just not notify you. Another thing you could try is texting yourself. It sounds funny, but dispatch a text message to your own cell phone to see if that works. (I own a Katana, from Sprint and I can text myself)
