The blind on my sidekick wont flip over so i can see!?

Its upside down so you read it upside down! how can i fix it and why wont my side kick 2 backlight wont come on its similar to a dark blind but its hard too see the stuff! any agency to fix it!?

want i would do is either,see tmobile can fix it, pocket it to a repair store. or reset it and if none of that works u r sckewed! and SIDEKICK 2S R NOT IN SERVICE 4 VERIZON!!!!!...
