If i get the razr v3 unlocked from walmart.com, when i turn it on what will it enunciate or do? WIll it let me whip pictures or will it say insert sim card? Please give a hand me 10 Points

I have a razr v3 and took my sim card out to answer this query.
If you don't have a sim card, it will say-so insert sim card, and you won't be able to do anything except sort emergency calls.
If you do hold a sim card, even if its not connected to a service, you will be able to access your phone except you won't know how to make call.
