I had a 2-year contract beside Alltel and would like to renew my Alltel plan impulsive since my phone has only about pooped out. The problem is, their financial plans essentially require you to get a 2-year contract by making a 1-year contract so expensive. I similar to the service, but I'm afraid the phones themselves aren't meant to closing as long.
Does anyone know which Alltel phones are better quality and longer durable? Do I really need to buy their expensive insurance to cover the phone that second year?
Answers: It really depends on how firm you are on the phone. The razr v3a's are pretty good, but I do recommend a leather covered plastic belt clip. I would also recommend the insurance until the time that the contract is fulfilled "simply in case".
I've have my current phone four years, and it's been accidently dropped, knock around, etc, and it's still doing fine.
