I own never seen a Sidekick self, but here are links to official
and user reviews at Amazon.com and Cnet.com. Since the Sidekick have a full qwerty keyboard, it is great for email, texting and internet - but it does not own bluetooth, a camera or EDGE like the Nokia 5300.

I enjoy had the Nokia 5300 for more or less 6 months and I love it. The phone and music player features are great (the only music phone that is to say as good is the most modern Sony Walkman). It is decent for texting and street light emailing and internet access. I wish the photo and video feature was better, but they are legitimate. The audio recording is worthy, the screen display is awesome, the controls and ergonomics are completely good. It have tons of features. It is the most customizable phone I have ever see for setting ringtones, music, wallpaper, themes, screensavers, icon and menus. The phone is plastic and is definitely fragile compared to most phones - I enjoy dropped mine several times but fortunately it did not break - I would definitely push for getting some sort of protective cover for this phone and for the screen (you can buy a amazon.com - exceptionally inexpensive). Nokia 5300 is not a "smart" phone, so cannot view MS Word Office documents or Adobe .pdf, but it cannot grasp infected w/viruses either. At the time I purchased, this be the only phone that did everything I needed and did it ably enough to be adjectives - and the price was perfect too.
