Anybody hold a sidekick? (slide preferably)?

My sidekick is getting really slow.. And the battery isn't lasting as long as it used to.
I'm at institution right now, and like. I'm down to similar to 5X% battery.
Why does the battery run so low if I use the internet or IM?
Also. I own like 125 songs on my memory card. Is that another reason my mp3 is so slow?

I enjoy one and I am having a similar issue. I went to a kiosk and they replaced the freestyle (if you do not have a warranty it will cost you). Check it out.
