Can I use my current O2 contract if I bought an iphone?

I currently have a contract with O2 which allows me 1800 minutes and 'unlimited' texts each month, for a price of lb75.
If I were to buy an iphone (which in the UK from what I gather only works with O2 simcards) would I then be able to use my current O2 simcard for the same contract in my iphone?

according to http://shop.o2.co.uk/promo/iphonetariffs :

"Our standard voice tariffs are not available for use with iPhone."

I'm not entirely sure if this means my contract wouldn't work, does it?

Thanks in advance

I want to go and get a prepaid phone next to a company explicitly the cheapest but doesnt havea on a daily basis allowance or any other fees

"Our standard voice tariffs are not available for use with iPhone."
this means they dont have those cheap 15 pound a month tariffs for I-phones

Phone Question?

I dont think so...im pretty sure that iphones come with their own sims and plus the phone will be locked on the iphones sim
