Help near a sidekick 3...?

My friends gave me a sidekick 3. They switched to a different phone. It did come on the first day I have it but I wasn't with T-mobile yet. Now I switched over and I be going to try it out but I can't get the thing to come on. I hold tried charging it, pressing the reset button blah blah blah, can anyone help me?
