How can a capture t mobile sim card to work on a cingular sony ericsson?
my friend gave me his old sony ercisson and i hold a t moblie plan can how do i unlock the phone to put in the t mobile SIM card in the Sony minus going to the AT&T store or without paying 30 bucks

You either entreat T-Mobile to unlock it or you ask your friend to do it for you [since he actually is a T-Mobile subscriber and T-Mobile would be more obliged to unlock it for him].
There really isn't any other passageway that's free, unless you know some people in the phone unlocking service.
I use to work for radio shack. Lots of those had this question. You obligation to do what's known as "unlocking" the mobile phone. (sorry yahoo, i love the google furrow engine) or you can find many store locations that specifically "unlock" mobile phones. you can get a code online that give u instructions on how to do it, but most places are 10 bucks and they do it right then and there.
