How to gain my parents to find me a cell phone?

I am starting to do things without my parents. Im only 11 around to be 12 but im starting to stay after school and hanging out in attendance. I dont want to keep using my friends phone but my mom and dad refuse to acquire me a phone. What am I gonna do?
