My friend's iphone internet is not working, it says something close to "safari cannot connect". Can anyone please help. Here are some hints about his phone compared to mine:
-his merely has like 6 icon on the main screen
-when within safari, the top left of mine says "AT&T" and have the bars and his just say "iphone"
-he just took over the phone from his daughter bc she got the up to date 3G. Everything works fine except for the internet.

Answers: does he have edge turned stale? tell him to check in his settings.
also give an account him to try resetting the phone if he hasn't already. to do that, hold down the power button and the home button until the screen turns off.
