I'm assuming that you're on a "normal" phone, not a smartphone: The notes they're talking roughly is Mobile Web data. If you don't own a data plan (VCast VPak or similar) and you're on a Nationwide plan, it'll cost you $1.99/MB (1024KB -> 1MB).

Data occur when you look for ringtones, games, and other applications, use the mobile web, or IM. It is charged at a $1.99 per mb. If you are subscribed to the $15/mo VCAST afterwards you have unlimited information usage. You can call within and have it added so that you don't hold to pay overages.
