I don't know much about the Sidekick, but I believe that Blackberry is the most secure platform for email hand down. On my Blackberry Curve, I can access the full worldwide web (can even watch YouTube), I can download and keep under surveillance full-length movies (I use a memory card placed under my battery for voluminous files), I have downloaded a ton of mp3's, I have small screen access through my carrier (Sprint...where I can survey CNN, MTV, VH1 and a few other stations live. They also have movies available there and a host of other channel with prerecorded programming...oh and I have a little radio stations), I can text (full QWERTY keyboard that I use A LOT), I can convey PIN messages to other BB users (just think of it as BB IM), can use Blackberry Messenger (also for IM'ing with other BB users), can use Facebook, read ebooks, I hold GPS, etc. I can also take pretty good pictures, diary live video, use Google Talk, AIM, Yahoo Messenger and have added many apps such as Twitterberry (to use Twitter on my BB), Viigo (RSS feed), Vlingo (for voice activate texting) and more. As of today, I can also use Truphone which allows me international calling on a VoIP mobile network for less than dialing direct.

Blackberry is a GREAT business phone, but it's ALSO deeply of fun and every day new apps are individual designed for it, so the list of things it can do is ever growing. There's a reason they phone it Crackberry. ;)

The Bold is due out soon, so if you're looking for a really trendy touch screen that can do all of the above and more (has Wi-Fi), do check it out past you make your decision.

Is within anything, in particular, you want to do on your phone that hasn't be covered here?

is there a cell phone on the..

Go near the Tmobile G1 running the Google Android operating system, w touch, gps, 3.0 mp cam, and some really sweet programs pushing technology. I have had 3 Sidekicks and loved them, but they are almost similar surrounded by design and function as far as screen and keys, but the G1 is touch and they are cheaper w a contemporary contract - $179 vs Sidekick 3 200- 250+. I don't know much about the Blackberry except business people approaching them for their software connectivity, especially email. The new blackberry is supposed to be really cool as far as touchscreen features with tactile feedback of sorts, I believe It's call the Blackberry Storm
Blackberries are not fun phones, their business and work related. sidekick is on a completely different league. its a teen phone designed for txtng. it sounds like ur a teen. get a sidekick.

SIM Card cross-examine? AT&T Phone...?

blackberry is like for business people sidekick is lately for like teenagers
