What is it close to have T-mobile on an unlocked iphone?

I was thinking about buying an iphone and have it unlocked or maybe just buying one explicitly already unlocked.

Either way i was wondering what adjectives of u that had T-mobile on an iphone thought of it?

I have a few question

1. If i have Fav5 will that still show up on my iphone?

2. If it doesnt physically show up will my fav 5 calls still be free?

3. Is it against T-mobiles contract to use an unlocked phone?

Well some people don't hold a problem with it but some people do.

1. if u hold my faves it will not show up because they only show up on phones u buy from T-Mobile.

2. No I do not think the my faves call will be free because my dad had a Nokia N95 and he had MyFav 5 and it did not show up or work on the phone because close to the I-Phone it was unlocked and was not purchased from T-Mobile.

3. I donot regard it is against T-Mobile you just need a T-mobile SIM but i dont dream up AT&T will appreciate that.

1) no, they will not show up on your phone because non-T-Mobile phones don't own the myFaves interface

2) you will still get unlimited calls to and from your Fave Five, you can organize them using My T-Mobile or by calling 611

3) no, it's not against any rules, lots of people do it, and T-Mobile doesn't mind and will try to help you if you enjoy technical issues, but our assistance is somewhat limited on phones we don't take (mostly because we do not have instructions and systems that let us do anything for those phones.)

I see T-Mobile customers using iPhones (not the newer one though, I don't come up with that works on T-Mobile) and they usually use the T-Mobile Total Internet feature on it.

I use an unlocked phone with T-Mobile, but my situation is a touch different. I was a SunCom customer, and T-Mobile took over that company. I had my phone unlocked because we thought that a unsullied sim sould be the answer to working out some kinks I was have, and in order to put a T Mobile sim surrounded by the phone it had to be unlocked.

The features still do not work. The issue is simply that since the phone is not a T-Mobile phone it is not completely compatible with T Zones, which allows you to download games and applications. I can access wall daily and ring tones just fine, but not the games.

If those features are not imporant to you, it will probably not be a problem-the phone works great otherwise. If you can get the phone unlcoked so that it can be used on T-Mobile, i.e. most likely the only type of issue you are going to hold.

I would think that you would be able to choose your Fave 5 and the call would be free unlimited, but I am not sure if they would show up or not (I have completely unlimited, not just to lasting people, so I am not sure exactly what you are talking about). However, explicitly a feature of the service not of the phone, so the calls will still be free even if they do not show up.
