What does the "i" stand for on Apple products?

i suggest it's actually simply a marketing thing but it would work if it be incredible.
Oh i know this one, fund when the imac was released, the i represented Internet, because it be so easy to budge on-line with the products. But as time have passed, the i has be incorporated into all their products.
It stands for I as surrounded by My, myself and I. Mymac, Mypod. an appeal to ownership
probably 'internet' or to at least associate it near that. Kind of like when everything started out beside 'e' in front of it for 'electronic'.

2001: A Space Odyssey and the phrase "Open the pod bay door, Hal!", which refers to the white EVA Pods of the Discovery One spaceship.

Joseph N. Grasso of New Jersey have originally listed an "iPod" trademark beside the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in July 2000 for Internet kiosk.
The first iPod kiosks have been demonstrated to the public contained by New Jersey in March 1998, and commercial use begin in January 2000. The trademark be registered by the USPTO in November 2003, and Grasso assigned it to Apple Computer, Inc. within 2005.

I think the "i" refers to I (myself) as within "I browse the net", thus "I have my own personal Pod" go iPod and "I have my own personalized Mac" go iMac. It's like wise saying the computer is made for "I" (me).
The "i" in the iMac originally stood for "Internet" and after I assume that Apple decided to use the 'i' matter in adjectives it's products. So I guess it's "internet pod" and "internet tunes"
