IPHONE, i already have a plan next to AT&T but..?
ok, i want an iPHONE, but my contract does not end till 2008,
and i do not want to lurk that long.
how much extra is it gonna cost me if i do buy the iPHONE.

It will cost you a minimum of $20 extra per month (on top of your normal monthly fee) plus the cost of the iphone. The $20 get you unlimited Data (Email and Web), Visual Voice mail and 200 sms course book messages. $30 per month gets you 1500 sms file messages instead of 200 and $40 per month gets you unlimited manuscript messages. You must buy the extra $20, $30, or $40 per month on top of your typical plan to use your iphone.
From what I have hear, if you are already an AT&T customer, they will let you appendage a previous contract when you get a bright 2 year iphone contract. Call them and see what they say. To correct the later post, the cheapest iphone plan starts at $59 a month... not $79.
Get the iPhone. Don't obtain the iPod touch my friend just get one and I compared it with the iPhone. The eyeshade quality isn't as dutiful as the iphone. And plus it doesn't feel as apt as good within the hand as the iPhone. The iPhone have more apps and plus you get unlimited internet and optical voicemail. Plus 200 text messages. The iPhone is the cheapest smart phone when you compare monthly plans. The iPhone is awesome you will close to it. It works just as perfect as in the commercials. Plus it get great service.
AT&T erases your current contract and replaces it with a 2 year contract!
assuming you own a data plan, it's 20 bucks more a month. If you didn't it's 30 bucks more.

I was within your same exact situation a while ago. but now i enjoy an iphone :]
at&t will not charge you an upgrade fee becuase you cant attain the phone at a discount price so you will just pay cheque the $299.99 (plus taxes) for the 4gig (if you can find it anywhere) or $399.99 for the 8gig.
once you get it home, you will plug it into itunes for activation and the process is thoroughly simple, theirs an option for current at&t customers. You enjoy to add an unlimited notes "iPlan" to your iphone, the cheapest is $20/month with unlimited facts and 200 sms text messages. you foot more money if you want more text. your voice plan will stay equal as long as you just port your behind the times at&t number to the iphone (which is done automatically if the option is choosed during activation)
oh, and your plan will extend to 2009. it will be another 2 years from the daylight you activate the iphone.
the process seem complicated, but its very simple and painless.

Its gonna cost u another 2 year cotract which will end contained by 2009 and the iphone itslef is 399.99 and if they still have 6gb later 299 (they discontiunded the 4gb). But if you wanna get it presently and i mean NOW! take the ipod touch, its everything on the iphone except the phone, they sell em within 8gb for 299 or 16gb for 399
