Is the iphone good?
i live surrounded by the uk and i keep on wanting a iphone but everyone say theyre not worth the money are they a good phone and what are the down sides and if they are bleak what other phone shall i get

i muse you should wait for the HTC tilt i.e. coming out for at&t and t-mobile and its way better than the iphone. faster samrter and doesnt freeze.........
I had an iphone for in the region of a week and then returned it to Apple and get a refund because I get sick and tired of the hassle with trying to obtain the darn thing to work. With an iphone, you own to activate it online yourself, and sometimes the activation process doesn't process correctly, and that be my experience.
During the entire week, it worked for about 24 hours, and that be because my son took his SIM card from his phone and put it in the iphone, and it in actuality worked. Then, unfortunately, AT&T personnel talk me into going to get a unusual SIM card. As soon as I put the new SIM card within the iphone, it stopped working, and that's when I got feed up and took it back.
During the short time the iphone worked, I enjoy playing with it, but be disappointed with a few things:
I found it to be awkward using as a cellular phone. The volume was not loud plenty, and I had a intricate time hearing on phone call. I was shocked to revise that you cannot send pictures from the iphone to other cell phones. I next learned you can supposedly distribute them by email to other cell phones.
It's a fun device but needs more modification before I'll infer about buying another iphone.
If you want the phone+ipod+Internet no in more or less a couple of years there will be a exotic iphone that can do everything. If you want a iphone that has everything but the phone they are coming out near it soon it is chepper :).
Not really. It's only a bit more advanced compared with other mobile phones, but not really neccessary. Most of its programs are solitary accessible in some areas up to very soon. And most have fees if you want to use them. I've hear too that if you download thier latest updates, and the updates detect that you're not using AT&T, which is the exclusive mover of iPhones, your phone will simply go on offline mode until you insert an AT&T sim card. I firmly believe that Sony Erricson phones are a wonderful choice; having one myself.

The point is the UK version of the IPHONE is much different than the US journal, first of all, they own different phone carriers.
The US mover is AT&T, I don't know what the UK carrier is.
Second, the UK edition is going to be valued in euros or pounds, depending on the current British currency.
