Can anyone tell me why the iPhone is worthwhile?
As far as I'm concerned the huge touchscreen will bring greasy from being against people's face, fingerprinted from people's fingers, it will get scratched from self in women's purses/men's pockets, and will other get otherwise messed up.
With adjectives the features they have jammed contained by the battery is sure to be controlled, plus they are not allowing third party downloads which is basically another move for them to get a strangle hold on your medium.
Apple got familiar for intuitive controls on the iPod...now a unbroken family of "i" products after that, it seems that the iPhone's touch peak is just a gimmick. It would be intuitive to use your fingers, except for adjectives the downsides I mentioned earlier. Other competitors such as the Nokia N800 give the impression of being just as flawless, if not better within many ways.
Why should someone fork out $600 for a product that seem to forget its roots? Rather than innovation and simplicity, the iPhone relies on the Apple name.
Why should anyone buy it?
Answers: This phone is not for everyone. It is not for someone who say ,"it's a phone...."
It is for someone who uses every feature on their current phone and wishes more (for instance someone who has the motorola SLVR beside iTunes, and wishes the camera was better, that it have more storage space etc)
It is for someone who wishes their phone was more Apple friendly (pretty much adjectives phones are PC friendly with high regard to internet application. This includes the Motorola SLVR with iTunes)
It is for someone who have an iPod, a digital camera, a cell phone and wishes they all could be integrated contained by one device that performs all right (instead of crappy cell phone photos etc)
It is primarily for Apple users, who have iTunes and other Apple applications.
It is also for empire who want something less bulky than their laptop to connect to WiFi on the be in motion.
The first question I asked roughly the touch screen be about the "smudging"issue. Somehow they enjoy managed to own the screen coated to repel grease and sweat. Don't ask me how....I don't know.
I have no perception the battery existence is. It probably requires charging more often, especially if adjectives the features are used.
It is $600, but it will be a phone, an iPod and a camera.
I am sure many citizens who get this phone will return with rid of their iPod and camera, in favor of this phone.
If you are thinking, "It's a $600 phone, too much for a phone", this is not for you.
If you are a business professional who uses PC applications, at hand is already a device in place. It is call the Blackberry.
As with any Apple device, adjectives the applications will be Apple. This holds true with an iPod, or any of their computers.
My individual issue with the iPhone is , why singular 2.0 megapixel camera? If/when I get this phone, I want to be capable of get rid of my 3.2 megapixel digital camera, so it requirements to be at least that much.
It is a bit expensive, but the first edition of anything is expensive.

It syncs like an ipod, act like a computer and make phone calls too! It's the individual phone with a FULL internet browser!
