Iphone or itouch?

Here's my situation:

(1)I would love to have an ipod since I enjoy never had one. Don't want lots of memory since I don't listen to too many songs.
(2)It would be cool to be capable of get online because I look in a language-teaching website a lot and they hold audio and video files
(3)I already have a phone and a camera
(4)So it seem obvious I don't want an iphone except one thing--I love the map feature on it. My friend and I be lost and she whipped out her phone, found the place, and even told me where on earth the good restaurant be near nearby.

Can itouch do that?
If I have to carry an iphone for that--my current carrier is Cingular, can I use the behind the times service?

Answers:    well the perk to the itouch(which i have) is that you dont carry charged for internet, as long as you are within a wireless zone. you could grasp on google maps through the internet on the itouch and its free. beside the iphone, u have to income for internet because its using internet thru att. i'd get the itouch if i be you. i love mine!!
Itouch sufficient ITouch can do whatever an Iphone can do except for the phone and camera. If you don't stipulation the camera and phone feature return with an ITouch

My mom just get one and loves it! We were driving downtown and she turned the internet function on... it picked up adjectives the websites of the shops we were around! Had like mad of other cool functions too!

The iPod touch is awesome. I got my husband one and he loves it. You can win Google maps on it, in recent times have to incorporate the bookmark but there's a version that's made for the touch or iPhone. If you don't requirement it for a phone, it's not worth the extra money. maybe some modified firmware on an itouch and you get yourself an iphone w/out the phone so you have an i lol

I'd vote an itouch. I wouldnt get an iphone! itouch can touch that...it have the internet so you can connect to mapquest easy..plus if you click on one of your contacts adress it get directions to that house. its just resembling an iphone except its not a phone, plus its like 200 cheaper
