Can you unlock an Iphone and make it verizion?

if yes how my parents said if it is posable i bring one so plz help
if so verizon get rid of sim cards right...

Answers:    NO. Verizon (and Sprint) use CDMA technology in their wireless networks and the iPhone is designed for GSM networks (like AT&T and T-moblie).

I hold a jailbroken and unlocked iPhone. There are many software features written by the stretch out source community that make a resourcefully designed piece of hardware a pleasure to use. These people enjoy done the things that Apple should have included near the orginal phone software.
Don't waste the money on an iPhone. Do you know why they earn the nickname the iBrick? If you mess next to the software it stops working. Then you're left next to a shiny piece of glass. Plus it's not worth it to wages $800 for a phone, especially one by Apple. There's another one out now (I believe by Samsung) specifically similar to the iPhone. Try that instead. nope nope. iphones run off a gsm exchange cards verizons cell phones run off cdma.... and verizon does not enjoy sim cards... sorry hun

CDMA and GSM are two totally different chips in phones, sprint and verizon dont enjoy sim cards and run off cdma, att, tmobile, and out of country services run rotten GSM, if you unlock an iphone you can use it with tmobile and thats basiccaly it for american services.
no verizon uses CDMA. Gsm phones use the sim cards (t-mobile, at&t).If you want to use an iphone next to Verizon get the voyager. It have a touch screen, a upright, and its also a flipphone. Anyway you need to progress to call mode on an iphone to call for people. no im sorry you cant do that and it is illegel because if apple looked-for the phone service to be verizon they would of got into a contract near them and verizon phone sim cards and at&t sim cards are different how bout you just win the voyager its a wanna be iphone
There are many tutorials on the internet that will show you how to unlock your phone. Once it's unlocked, you can use it beside any carrier you want (including verizon).

You should be warn, however, that once your phone is unlocked you cannot use any of the updates that Apple sends out to make your phone better. If anything happen to the phone (some people enjoy had exact difficulties after unlocking their phone) then Apple can't relieve you.

I wouldn't unlock the phone, the risks aren't worth the benefits. If you really want it, I would just stick to the AT&T plan. Pretty soon (this year sometime) Apple is trying to bring back the Iphone to other carriers, so you could also only wait.
NO NO NO, nobody what anyone tell you, you cannot do this! Verizon uses CDMA, and At&t uses GSM, it is impossible! you can surley do that!
