Unlock the sidekick 3 or the iphone?
i am currently living in south american and i be interested in purchasing a sidekick 3 or the iphone, but i be wondering even if i did figure out a bearing to unlocl could i use it here and still have the features such as internet texting games aim, things approaching that?

Sidekick 3 - As of now, it's almost imposible to unlock. Even if you be able to purchase this phone unlocked, the background features of this phone will not work. The only point you would be able to do is breed and recieve calls making this phone a completely bad purchase. This phone is also with the sole purpose a dual band phone GSM850/1900 so you would own to check what GSM frequancy your country uses
The iphone does not come out till the 29th, as of now, at hand is no way to unlock this phone, it's locked to att so the with the sole purpose way to unlock it is through att. Att will one and only give unlock codes to current customers that bump into certain requirements
Sorry, I know its not the answer you want to hear but for immediately, I would forget about these phones and look elsewhere
