When is the iPhone released in the UK?
does anybody hold any clue? i have search around for info but so far haven't found anything useful. gratefulness

According to the website below, the iPhone will be released contained by the UK in time for Christmas.

The actual release date hasnt be confirmed, neither has teh net that is going to be the sole supplier, but the rumours are that O2 own signed the deal. Although that rumour be made before and next denied so things could change.
The nearest date is at the downfall of 2007 or early 2008.
I own played with an iPhone a couple of weeks ago, and to be honest they are massively over rate as there are lots of better products on the bazaar, and by the time its comes to the UK it will look dated with the products contained by production at the moment. But if you want the Apple logo, it is a nice looking gadget.
There is no official release date even so for the UK, though amazon are operating a service where they will email as soon as it is available for pre-ordering -

I'm going to start in recent times copying and pasting as I have answered this give somebody the third degree a dozen times already!
The iPhone will be released in the UK on the O2 net in tardy November - early December. That is confirmed.;

The Yanks lap up hype and they are 2 years aft us in Europe on mobile technology so the iPhone is modern and state of the art. Over surrounded by the UK it's like buying a Betamax VCR - outdated and out of date. It doesn't have 3G, nevermind HSDPA or HSUPA, no video video recording capability, you can't install third jamboree applications on it (I would miss being competent to program by Sky+ box to record something when i'm not home). Also within the UK we have find your feet to the handset one heavily subsidised when we get a strange one, there are no subsidies on the iPhone so you payment top dollar for a flash looking box filled next to out of date technology.
Buy a top winding up Nokia or Sony Ericsson instead and save yourself a fortune.
Does anyone enjoy an unlocked Iphone on verizon or alltel? beside the unsullied update what doesnt work? worth it?
