Is it possible to convert the source code from a mac desktop team game so it can be compatible for the iphone osx?
Answers: Yes and No.
Quake 3 has be kinda converted.
It's actually not too bleak to convert...it's just making it useable...you're not gonna port Warcraft III over and expect to play it close to that...the UI would look so complex on such a small screen and family would be tapping the wrong buttons.
So yes, it is manifestly possible to convert the source code from a Mac Desktop game...but it's not as straightforward as people assume...
Even porting 1.1.x jailbroken apps are hard...NES is the one and only thing that's be ported so far and it doesn't even recognize the ROMs
