My ambient light sensor on my iPhone does not work...if i lift it into the apple store will they replace it?
The light sensor does not work on my iphone and i am wondering if they would furnish me a new one (refurb at least) approaching they do with ipods. I would a bit find out here rather than driving to the precinct and then finding out they won't replace it. How would they tryout the phone?

Well seeing as the iphones new (less than 12 months) you can return with it replaced for free as when they sell it to you it HAS to be of judicious quality and finishing for a reasonable time and cos that sensor have failed it can be argued it wasn't of sufficient feature (Its british trade law). As for reasonable time I'd articulate for a phone tha expensive you'd expect 18 months or more of fault free usage but it should hold at least 12 months warrenty.
Take it subsidise to the store and ask, if they refuse to do it for free than basically go to the citizens direction buruea and tell them what I've told you and they'll phone the store and quote the appropriate trade regulation.
Done this before myself beside an old bosch phone years rear legs.
if you hold pro care (insurance) later yes they will fix it for free or they will charge you for this service
If you have a warranty i ruminate they'll fix it for free. If you have insurance it might depend they might ask you how it happen and you might have to retribution a fee. Though its other better to call the store from where on earth you bought your iphone so you can get accuratly informed.
