HELP! I have a 3G ATT SIM card and I want to know if it will work if I put it into a different iphone!?
I am getting a brand new iphone on ebay that have never been open. I have a 3G SIM card that I currently use near my Blackjack. I heard the iphone with the sole purpose works with a 3G SIM card, so will it work if I put my 3G SIM card into the iphone and it work?

The iphone have a SIM built in it but you can start it and put your own in it.....Im pretty sure you should lately call AT&T and they should back you with it.
You need to prompt the iphone though iTunes regardless. You can take the sim card out of your phone and put surrounded by the iPhone but it won't work until you activate it through iTunes.
It doesn't issue if it says 3G on it or not. The iPhone doesn't work on the 3G web but nearly all of them ship wih 3G cards contained by them. All the sim card is doing is authenticating the phone to work on the network.
the iphone's sim card is built within the phone, however it is possible to remove it. the iPhone is NOT 3G, therefore I'm assuming the 3g card will not work, however I presume all sim cards are alike? in short the answer is name att just to formulate sure. if you do purchase it, here is a video on how to remove the SIM card
