To answer your press on of the RAZR is cool or not, it isn't. Almost everyone is getting RAZR so you won't stand out in the crowd. For starters a RAZR is okay. If you want to stand out bring back a Chocolate by Lg, Sidekick, or a Nokia 7370. They are kinda expensive but it's worth it when your at aparty of reunion and people will ask if hey can see it and what not. Anything that have a camera feature and music listen feature would be flawless for you. Hope this helps! :)
Short answer - no. There have be many bright models released lately, Sony Ericsson comes to mind when I think of an "it" phone that isn't the iPhone. They own a new string of walkman phones that let you store a great deal more MP3s than a Razr would, with expandable memory of up to 4gigs. I hold the sony ericsson w300i and I find it has excellent nouns and video quality.
