How many songs will the 4G Apple iPhone hold?
newly wondering.. is the 4G of memory JUST for music/video or is it for the whole phone combined? If so, how various songs will that hold?

It's for the whole phone, and it depends on how masses names and games and pics you own on the phone before putting music on it. Could be anywere from 10,000 (4-gig ipod nano owner) to none
You can hold about 960 songs contained by the 4GB iphone. However, if you put any videos, tv shows, or podcasts, you will own less room to put songs. I own 2 full length movies, 1 tv episode, and can still put around 150 songs. It's more than enough for me as I rotate my songs base on playlists.
