if you want to use an Indian queue, not until a cellphone service provider joins near apple to provide services. there are some guys working on cracking the locks, currently you can remove the activation lock with the sole purpose, but its still locked to AT&T. you can wait for the partnership, or continue for the guys to crack it & hope the crack is not patched before you use it, though if you really looked-for to use it now, you could walk on roaming, which is expensive.
Yeah but you'd have to enjoy an American plan with AT&T. If you get the AT&T World Traveler package for an extra $5.99 a month your call would cost $2.29 a minute and without the bunch they would cost $2.49 a minute.
You wouldn't be able to use any of the notes features of the phone except SMS, however, because those are only available on the AT&T net.
I don't recommend doing it because it might look cool but without mortal able to use the pattern and stuff it defeats the purpose of have one. Plus the iPhone is more trouble than its worth. Wait for later generation of the phone when they have fixed the bugs and its available for any GSM shipper.
