Will the iphone work on latin american countries?

Unfortunately, rates would be big since you will be in roaming mode. And you currently call for service with AT&T USA.
Its better to dawdle, as it will soon be launched outside USA in need requiring AT&T subscription.
Till then, if you do option to purchase without waiting, you can use adjectives other functions except phone feature.
