if i buy an iPhone off of ebay, can i put my SIM card within it?

and how do i use the internet on it? are in that plans? or is it free?

first off if you could buy the phone two ways lock or unlocked
when you buy the phone lock after you have to set off the phone through itunes and get a facts plan specific for the iphone which will let you travel online but the phone also has wifi which let you go online by a wireless framework. if you are going to do this then freshly buy your phone straight from apple it will actually be cheaper because it will merely be $400 dollars plus tax. through this approach can't put your own sim card on the phone because you the phone actually have a special sim card.
the other way is to buy the phone unlock if you bring the phone unlock it means you could use the phone next to any carrier who give somebody a lift a sim card. With this one you could actually put your sim card contained by the phone and although you have at&t you don't hold to get the plan because you could jump online through the wifi. i bought my iphone like this even though I own at&t because i don't really go online through my phone and i didn't want to capture the data plan.
hope this facilitateno u dont put a sim card in.When u go and get it u have to put the USB cord into your computer and after u do the plans on the computer.The iphone already have internet on it but it's slow....if u want it faster u can seize a router..the text meggeaing (sorry dont know how to spell it <.<")and the internet is free....i hope i assistance even a little =(.... ps.my dad get a iphone so....
No, u can't just put your sim card contained by it. The iphone has a special plan for within. You go to Safari to use internet on it. The internet comes as piece of the iphone plan that you buy when you activate your iphone. Without the special Iphone plan your iphone can't work or do anything, it's basicaly a paperweight.
