If im not eligible for an upgrade, can I still go contained by, get the phone, and pace out? or no? Thanks.

They'll explain exactly how to do it, but you'll own no problem buying one. :)No contract upgrade is needed. Anyone can buy an iPhone as long as you don't try to use cash contained by an Apple store.
Just go to your friendly neighborhood AT&T store and purchase one.
Or buy almost 175 of them, unlock them, and send them to Canada... it's a great find rich quick classification!
