i am thinkin of an iphone for christmas and want to know wheather its worth getting it on ebay insted of from o2
Answers: Nope, spend your money on a capable phone beside features that are going to be useful. The iPhone is over-hyped, overpriced and over-rated, it doesn't fact things we are accustomed to like -
A flash on the camera
A wearing clothes camera (it's only 2megapixel....you can carry 5 or more now)
3G (it has EDGE which is solely a slight enhancement on GPRS so you could liken it to dial up compared to broadband).
Voice talent is reported to be "tinny"
No MMS (aka picture messaging)
No video recording know-how
No support on the "full web browser" for Java or Flash......making a massive chunk of the network invisible to it)
You can't forward a text message on it.
You can't install third knees-up applications on it (like Sky by Mobile which you use to programme your Sky+ box when you are out or away)
No mobile TV
After reading that would you really want a phone with smaller number capability than a Motorola V3X? Or would you prefer something beside all those things and more close to Sat Nav built in such as the Nokia N95 or high-ranking end Sony Ericsson handsets which push the boundaries of technology.
