Broken iphone?

I purchased my iphone the day they be released- I dropped it on the ground and cracked the screen- does anyone know the policies on fixing it? will apple issue me a new phone? except what is the cheapest way I can obtain it fixed etc- if you have experienced this please permit me know what my options are. thankfulness

Answers:    Ok, this same thing happen to me. If you have owned your iphone for beneath 365 days, log on to apple.com and request a repair, they will send you a box to distribute it to them. All you will have to do is distribute them the box with the phone and for free they will fix or hand over you a brand new one (you might want to pay shipping). If you own owned it for more than 365 days, then the solitary way to catch a free repair is if you bought the 50 dollor warranty for it, if you dont have it still convey it to apple and they will charge you for the repair. (if you dont know how old your phone is, on apple.com they will report you if you are still under warranty and eligible for a free fix) I hope this help, sorry about your phone.
