ok so i triedto use the e mail characteristic on my iphone but it wont work. do i have to regester my email information through apple or do i have to income extra to my service provider to get the e messages feature?
Answers: You can set-up iPhone to send/receive email from your current email side. You will have to walk to your email provider or system and find the answers to the following:
Type of email: pop or imap, or exchange;
Your email address;
Your password;
incoming mail server address (ex: letters.comcast.net)
outgoing mail server address (ex. smtp.comcast.net)
incoming server port - usually 110;
outgoing server port - usually 25;
SSL on or sour?
When you find out all the above, jump to the SETTINGS icon on the phone, scroll to MAIL and later ADD ACCOUNT. Then fill contained by the blanks with your answers.I construe ypu have to download something.
