Why does Apple only volunteer the iphone through AT&T?
I really like the iphone, but do not really want to switch to AT&T to receive it. So that brings me to the question, why does Apple with the sole purpose offer their iphone through one service provider anyway. I denote what does Apple care and why do they exercise control over that? Also, wouldn't they be getting more money if they allowed adjectives carriers to present it?
Answers: The reason the iphone is merely on AT&t is because Apple bought AT&T or because AT&T bought the phone.
I wish Sprint offered it, lead to I really like Sprint.
I thought they would get more money too, but then I be thinking that AT&T would make profoundly of money also because people would switch to them merely to have the iPhone.
My friend told me that theyre supposed to be offering othe phone companies the iPhone soon.

bc they made a multi million dollar buy and sell with At&t so att would carry more customers. After i believe 4 years you will be able to use it near any service

Probaly because they be probaly the first to sponser the Iphone, or maybe they offered the most money.
AT&T must own bribed them with a huge sum of currency, making AT&T more money.

They hold a contract with AT&T stating that they will be their exclusive provider for the phone. In turn, AT&T pays them for this agreement & their business.
i know and they compensate like $200.00 dollars more for an unlocked phone!
Well.. Iphone is untried product they dont wana be limited to any carier thats regional or smaller and own limited expertise to handle notes. As result AT & T is best choice they get wider catalogue better availability and that means lost of sale.. simple..
no actually they bring in more money off one haulier because the carrier pays to own the phone exclusive. more money than they would get from adjectives the companies. and also at&t where the lone ones willing to retribution that much so i think they own the phone exclusively in the US until 2011 but tmobiles getting the phone surrounded by germany!
AT&T signed a deal next to them. They bought the provider service rights most likely. They know the iphone would be extremely popular so they paid Apple money to confer them exclusive rights to service. They knew if someone needed it bad adequate they would switch networks.
Actually you are all to some extent correct....the very first phone next to iTunes on it was beside AT&T and Apple was forced to sign a contract wayyyyy backbone then that for 10 years in that would be no phones with iTunes on them unless they be with AT&T.
