Bose QC3 and iPhone?
Will my Bose Quiet Comfort three headsets work next to the apple iPhone? I heard on the internet that positive headsets own to big of audio connectors, and the iPhone's headset jack is very rounded and small, so some will not know how to plug into it. So I was wondering if anyone have been competent to use their various Bose headset with the iphone on the other hand.
Answers: No, none of Bose's headphones will currently work near the iPhone. Bose, however, is working on an adapter that should be available in the Fall of 2007. I would guess that Bose will get this adapter available free-of-charge to existing headphone owners.
Bose is also in the process of resizing the plug on adjectives headphone releases so they will fit the iPhone. These new earphones will gradually be rolled out contained by the Fall of 2007.
No, I've checked and the cable is to too big and doesn't fit into the recessed headphone jack on the iphone. You can buy an adapter for around $10.00.

Yes. It will work. I am using the airplane adapter that came next to my QC3s on the iPhone. The prong that does not fold on the adapter is a stereo prong and it fits perfectly into the iPhone. I, however, own my fingers crossed that Bose will be releasing a new replacement cable to be exact compatible with the iPhone.
If you don't hold the airplane adapter that came beside the QC3s, Belkin makes an adapter that will brand name any pair of earphones iPhone compliant. Apple stores are selling this adapter for $10. Griffin also makes an iPhone headphone adapter but I do not know how much these cost.
