Can i get the iphone but not trade name a new two contract?

Answers: I'm sure you can. It's a short time ago going to cost a LOT more that way.
I believe it's against federal ruling to prohibit the sale of a communications device minus a contract. And because of that, it's why you can buy them at eBay and other places -- the iPhone 8GB version is currently address list at eBay for anywhere from $450 to $950 -- it's going to be hilarious to see what some will discharge.
You might be able to dance halfway -- sign a one-year and grasp some price break...
