A question going on for iPhone!PLZ HELP?

i want to buy an iPhone, the probelm is that i hearedthat it only works near AT&T, however i live in egypt and my mover is Vodafone,so i can any one tell me if it is going to work?? and except, what can i do to make it work ?? thx

Answers:    No, not for now- looks approaching most of us will have to continue for 5 years, as they have a five-year lock on the contract.
If you want unlocked iPhone, buy a Korean iPhone :) Actually the five ur lock contract is simply for the US, over the next year apple will be bring the iPhone to different carrier around the world, so ur gonna have to lurk till later on this year.
