Is the iPhone the same as the iPod Touch, but next to the phone functions added in?

Is the iPhone like peas in a pod as the iPod Touch, but with the phone functions added within? Does the iPod Touch have functions the iPhone does not hold?

Answers:    Basically, yeah. However, some applications on the iPod touch which are also on the iPhone don't preform the same schedule. For example, I don't think you can join events to the calender in the iPod Touch, but you can on the iPhone. You also find the unlimited* data bag and access to The Cloud Wi-Fi spots unlike the iPod touch.

Also, whoever said about the iTunes Wi-Fi store human being on the iTouch - It's also on the iPhone now.
the itouch is close to the iphone but with out the phone call n stuff, but the itouch has any a 8 or 16gb hard drive, where on earth as the iphone has 4 or 8 gb. The touch have some music rating functions that the phone doesn't have too.

The iPhone have cell phone features as you said. The iPod Touch comes in sophisticated capacity models. The iPod Touch also have an iTunes WI-Fi Music Store. You can download music straight to your phone! The iPod Touch also has Starbucks Music. So, when you are contained by a Starbucks, the song playing will pop up on your iPod, and you can download it.
