Will keeping an iPhone up-to-date help mobile life?
I call Apple and they said in direct for battery to function okay, it must be kept up to date...
also i read what the update could do and it said bug fixes, what exactly is that?

I think the iphone guy go crazy on the battery chunk. The battery have nothing to do next to the firmware(software) of ur phone except for the bug fixes(he's right).
But if u want tips for keeping ur battery HEALTHY after.....Periodically fully drain ur battery ie once within 2 weeks after that switch ur fone off and later charge it fully that might take some 2-3 hours but that track ur battery wont die impulsive
